What is inside
- The completion record. Eight fields: claim, scope, evidence, method limits, not checked, uncovered paths, decision needed, next check.
- The claim ladder. Five labels for reporting the status of a claim, from drafted to monitored. A summary may shorten a claim; it may never strengthen it.
- A handoff acceptance checklist. Ten checks for the receiving side and three possible decisions.
- Twelve false-completion patterns. Each paired with a check that can detect it.
- A worked example. A hypothetical consent-banner task, with limits and remaining decisions recorded.
- A machine-readable version. The same fields in YAML.
The material includes a 7-page handoff kit and a companion 12-slide presentation.
02
How to use the record
- Ask for the eight fields in each completion report.
- Name the status of each claim and the conditions under which it was checked.
- Review the evidence and remaining work before passing the claim to the next agent or person.
Use a separate record when claims have different scopes or different evidence.
03
Who it is for
Engineers and technical leads who use AI agents in sequence to plan, execute, verify and release work, and need the receiving side to know what was actually established.
